800 Series™
Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus

$US 3,250.00 SKU 800SERIES
SCBAs
provide the wearer with the highest level of respiratory
protection available. These units utilize either a thirty or
sixty minute cylinder containing pressurized air which is
delivered "on demand" to the facepiece. Because
the cylinders are worn on the back of the worker, SCBAs are
completely portable, enabling the worker the maximum
mobility for crucial applications such as emergency response
and rescue. The 800 Series is available as NFPA compliant
units, or in the more economical non-NFPA version. Both are
NIOSH approved and available in many models. The soft
silicone full facepiece incorporates a comfortable dual
sealing flange for a superior fit, an oral/nasal cup to
reduce fogging, a speaking diaphragm with clear,
intelligible voice transmission and a super hard coated
polycarbonate lens with greater the 200°
field of vision. The demand valve is a "First Breath
Release" design, and provides greater than 300 liters
per minute upon peak inhalation. The 800 Series also
features a luminous pressure gauge, a stainless steel
whistle assembly, locking quick-connects and fail-open
design. The harness and backplate assembly is designed for
comfort and proper weight distribution during the most
rigorous jobs.

Cooling Vests
Get hours of comfortable cooling with vests made with the patented
PCM™ (Phase Change Material) technology from Kappler. Its unique
cooling properties keep the body cool, not cold, and therefore do
not cause the vasoconstriction frequently seen with other cooling
systems. The vest is made of Banox flame-retardant cotton fabric
with pouches for inserting sectioned bladders of PCM. The PCM
bladders are easily charged (frozen) in ice to 65º F (18º C).
The vest weighs eight pounds (20 kg) and one size fits most. It is
available in two cooling values:

Lynx™
Personnel/Material Hoist
|
|
Product
Description
The
Lynx Hoist System is a rugged, versatile and economical
hoist for lifting, lowering and positioning of personnel
and materials. Designed for a maximum workload of 310 lbs.
for personnel (10:1 design factor) and 620 lbs. for
materials (5:1 design factor). All steel construction with
an internal shock absorber that operates even when usable
length of line is fully extracted. Load-limiting clutch
prevents loading hoist in excess of 620 lbs. Emergency
drive allows manual bypass of load-limiting clutch for
extra lifting capacity. Load indicator is displayed once
the clutch is activated (load over 620 lbs.). Primary gear
backed up by two independent secondary brakes. Crank is
anti-backlash and has a 5:1 gear ratio and a
lifting/lowering speed of 25 ft. per minute. Side, boom
and socket mount hoists have integral brackets for
attachment to the Lynx™ Tripod, Davit Systems and
qualified anchorage connectors. Each unit has a galvanized
or stainless steel wire rope line with a self-locking
swivel snaphook. Optional air drive adapter enables
powered lifting/lowering with separate air-powered drive
assembly.

Aptura™
LT12 Self-Retracting Lanyard
|
|
Product
Description
MSA has set a new standard in the
mechanical fall protection market with the Aptura LT12
Self-Retracting Lanyard (SRL). Never before has the market
seen such a state of the art device with so many standard
features. With its solid design and fast acting brake
mechanism, you can be confident that the Aptura LT12 SRL
will be there to protect you when you need it most.
The Aptura LT12 SRL features include:
· A
durable, engineered thermoplastic housing to increase
service life.
· A
field-replaceable lifeline option. In the event that the
webbing should become damaged, this option allows a user
to replace the web lifeline in the field without sending
anything back to the manufacturer. The Aptura LT12 is the
first SRL on the market to offer this feature.
· A
lightweight design starting at 2.4 pounds, making it the
lightest SRL on the market
· A
standard lifeline length of 12 . Available in lengths from
6 to 12 in 1 increments
· A 400
pound working capacity as a standard feature.
· A
constant lock-up rate to prevent the erratic, jerky
lock-up (like a seat belt) found on some types of personal
fall limiters.
· No
annual factory re-certification required due to high
quality construction. This not only reduces the cost of
ownership, but it also eliminates down time.
