Ammonia Safety Videos

Our state of art training lab, which has double in size this year, has specialized training equipment for testing and learning that is found at no other training site. This equipment was specifically built for new operators to understand the refrigerant outside the system and to help understand what happens inside their system. 

We build most of our training videos that are used in the program. We are very happy to say that we will continue to improve training at the highest level in research and development for ammonia refrigeration. 

Video 1:  PSM/RMP Ammonia Awareness

Garden City Ammonia Program has developed a 22 minute DVD specifically for PSM/RMP Ammonia Awareness. It is designed to give new hires a brief idea of the ideas following OSHA's 29 CFR 1910.119 and also EPA's risk management program from book 40. We are finding more and more that the industry is hiring new blood that are not familiar with the requirements under these standard. So thus this DVD was created to give them a idea of what the standards entail and an introduction to PSM/RMP specifically entailing ammonia..22 Minute Video of "PSM/RMP Ammonia Specific"

Video 2: Anhydrous Ammonia Incidents

The state of Oklahoma and Oklahoma State University have created and developed a DVD for dealing with NH3 outside the system.  Great for responders/ fire departments/ hazmat teams/ etc...

Video 3: GCAP Video

GCAP has developed a fifteen minute commercial of our facility, and course that we teach.  Also included in the DVD, an interview with EPA.

Video 4: New Operators Expectations

Coming soon, this 30 minute DVD with show new operators what to expect their first weeks in the engine room.

Video 5: Draining Oil

Coming Soon, this 30 minute DVD with teach the lessons and principles of how to safely drain oil pots.
