Technical Program Highlights
- System Efficiency: A demonstration of how plant performance can be predicted accurately based on evaporator design and circuiting.
- Non-Chemical Water Treatment: A practical evaluation of Non-Chemical Devices and what to lookout for in their application to industrial refrigeration water treatment systems.
- Regulatory Updates: A complete review of the existing and new regulatory and code developments, including discussion of a high-low crossover pressure relief system developed as an alternative to water diffusion tanks.
- Ammonia Releases: An overview and demonstration of an effective strategy for analyzing and identifying causes that contribute to a release and developing operational responses to reduce the probability of a recurrence.
- Product Freezing Cost Analysis: A comparison of different freezing methods in terms of product damage and quality, weight loss, versatility, reliability, continuity, associated building and refrigerant costs.
In addition to an excellent conference program of technical papers and panel discussions, a special one-day seminar will be held on Wednesday, March 22 covering the new IIAR Ammonia Refrigeration Management (ARM) Program for small facilities. Separate one-day registration for the ARM Seminar will be available in January.
