Project 80

Garden City Technical School

Over the last 23 years we have successfully ran the world renowned GCAP Technical School in Garden City, KS. We are the largest provider of hands-on industrial ammonia refrigeration, CO2 refrigeration, steam boiler and PSM Compliance training in the world. GCAP is an industrial educational company which offers the majority of our courses incorporating hands-on training with live equipment and classroom structure.
GCAP has trained over 37,000+ technicians in the industry and have an established a reputation globally based on our hands-on training with over 950+ different end-users within North America and beyond. With over 50,000 square feet of dedicated industrial training engine rooms, each industrial design from the last 5 decades and future generation applications are implemented at GCAP to enhance the learning to operators, mechanics, safety personnel, and mangers.
Project 80 is the creation of the world’s largest free tuition trade school supported by industry. This trade school would be an 80-acre complex to provide training for skilled jobs including, but not limited to, electrical, automation, construction, wind turbine repair, plumbing, HVAC, and welding. This country is in need of those with these skills which is becoming harder and harder to find! Project 80 would create a skilled workforce without being a tax burden on taxpayers. Our youth would be provided with the skillsets to get a good paying job and help fill the gaps we have in the skilled labor roles today.
